When developing the decor in 2023, product designer Zhuoyu Hou drew on the art history of her Asian roots. As one of the elements of the so-called "Four Gentlemen", bamboo is one of the most popular motifs of the Song Dynasty (960 to 1279) - not only because of its refined beauty, but above all because of its characteristic features, which have been attributed to it by Chinese writers for generations.
